NEDBANK GORONGOSA CARD

Nedbank Gorongosa Card is a co-branded card, issued in partnership with Gorongosa National Park, which besides allowing the holder to buy goods and services on credit at establishments in the VISA network, make cash advances at ATMs and at any bank branch displaying the VISA symbol, in Mozambique and abroad, also allows the holder to make a donation per transaction at no extra cost to himself, to support projects for the restoration, maintenance and conservation of biodiversity in Gorongosa National Park.

Nedbank Gorongosa Card gives you the freedom to define how and when to pay for your purchases or credit withdrawals made with your card.

Mode of payment

You can divide your payments into easy monthly instalments or choose to pay the entire balance (100%).

Choose the percentage that best suits your needs:

  • Pay 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80% or 90% of the outstanding balance or
  • Choose a fixed amount


If you choose partial payment, the outstanding debt will be subject to interest calculation until the issue of the next statement.

In the event of loss or theft of the card you must call:

This service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is multilingual.

After reporting the loss or theft of the card by phone, the Customer must notify the Bank in writing as soon as possible, attaching, in the event of theft, the police report or report from the equivalent authority.

After the Customer reports the loss or theft of the Card to the Bank or Visa, he/she shall no longer be held liable for any fraudulent operations, provided these have not been validated by PIN.

If the Customer subsequently finds the card, he/she must not use it and is required to hand it in at an Nedbank´s Branch.
